June 2024 – Ancestry is rolling out new DNA tools and features, and they are now available to Australian subscribers.
Most of the FREE DNA tools and features will be behind a paywall, now called Ancestry DNA Plus, and can be accessed via paying a monthly Fee.
Some of the features Included for AncestryDNA Plus subscribers are:
· Shared Matches tool
· View Common Ancestors
· ThruLines
· Access to Public Trees
· Matches trees up to 7 generations

UPDATES TO FamilyTreeDNA from Roberta Estes.
FamilyTreeDNA has announced they have a partnership with MyHeritage to provide members of FTDNA with MyHeritage family tree tools.
FamilyTreeDNA will retire their current tree builder on September 9, 2024, and all trees not connected to the 'new experience' will become read-only.
